Luxury is leading Abu Dhabi's market. Savills Middle East data, reported by Arabian Business on 19 October 2026, shows residential transactions above AED 10 million rose 104% year on year in the third quarter of 2026.
There were 582 such deals in the quarter, up 35% on the previous quarter and more than double the number a year earlier. Around 95% of them were off-plan.
This comes within total residential sales of AED 21.5 billion for the quarter. Earlier ADREC data for the first half of 2026 showed Hudayriyat Island, Saadiyat Island, Al Reem Island, Al Maryah Island and Yas Island among the areas with the highest sales value.
What it means for buyers: premium buyers are mostly choosing off-plan launches, so the choice of developer, location and delivery timeline matters as much as the headline price.
